I believe Layering should not be restricted to a particular season.
Usually, from an onset of autumn to spring, layering becomes a key element. However, when it comes to summers there’s a sudden rush to basic / minimal clothing.
I ask (or you can say wonder) why? There are tonnes of light and cool fabrics such as organic cottons, rayon, viscose and georgette/chiffon that can be incorporated as a light summer trench, long line jackets, shrugs and drapes for that effortless, chic look.
These days many Indian brands are using this versatile style for example Sangria for Jabong, Biba, W for Woman, and many more brands available at Pantaloons or Shoppers stop. Also, you can look out for these at the online stores such as Asos, Shein, etc. and many other stores near you.
If incase, you run out of luck at these places you can always get them tailored to your liking, size, color and design.
I feel there is a whole new charm to a customised, tailor-made garment, purely because its unique and one of a kind.
Its pure perfection!
So why wait? Get your summer layers on, babe!
